Montecito Fire Protection District To Increase Staffing for Red Flag Warning and Predicted Wind Event

The National Weather Service (NWS) has called for a Red Flag Warning to be in effect from late tonight through Sunday morning across the Santa Barbara South Coast, including Montecito. In addition to the Red Flag Warning, the NWS predicts a moderate to strong sundowner wind event tonight into Sunday morning with sustained winds between 30-40 mph and gusts of 50-60 mph.
