The Board of Directors is responsible for governing the Montecito Fire Protection District. The Board currently consists of five members, each of whom serves a four-year term.
The Board of Directors' compensation for 2024 is $210.00 per meeting for no more than a total of four regular or special meetings or day’s service in any calendar month per Resolution 2023-12.

The Montecito Fire Protection District Board of Directors meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 2:00 p.m. in the conference room at Fire Station 91, 595 San Ysidro Road. The Board may also schedule special meetings at other times when needed and will post advanced notice according to the Brown Act.
Montecito Fire Department is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
