Red Flag Warning in Montecito - Are You Prepared?
The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for the south coast of Santa Barbara, including Montecito from Thursday, October 12th through Saturday, October 14th at 10:00 AM. Predicted gusty north winds peaking at 30 � 40 miles per hour, and very low humidity ranging from 5�15 percent bring critical fire weather conditions to the area. If fire ignition occurs, the potential for rapid-fire spread and extreme fire behavior is very likely, causing imminent threat to life and property.
