THOMAS FIRE INFORMATION

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for the south coast of Santa Barbara, including Montecito from Sunday, December 3rd at 6:00 PM through to Monday, December 4th at 6:00 AM.

The 6th annual Season of Hope food and toy drive is underway. KSBY has teamed up once again with local non-profit organizations, fire departments and several businesses for the community-wide event. The Montecito Fire Protection District is now accepting donations of non-perishable foods and NEW, UNWRAPPED toys at either of our two fire stations.

October 23, 2017 � The Montecito Fire Department honored those whose collective efforts saved the life of a Montecito resident, who suffered sudden cardiac arrest on July 22, 2017.

The current wind will continue and increase through Tuesday. The highest temperatures are anticipated Monday, October 23, and Tuesday, October 24. Temperatures will be near or in excess of 100 degrees, with lows in the 70�s to low 80�s. An elevated sense of awareness is imperative during extreme weather situations.
