We’ve received significant rain across the South Coast over the last 24 hours. Rain rates of up to 1.33 inches per hour were recorded. Thankfully, our debris basins, creeks & channels are managing the runoff from the storm well. We have not experienced any severe or damaging impacts thus far.
As of 6 a.m. Tuesday, about 2.8 inches of rain had fallen in town. Between 4-6+ inches were recorded at our higher elevation rain gauges in the mountains & foothills.
Scattered rain will continue today & we are expecting another rainy period next week. Please continue to be prepared for rain & be safe!
