MONTECITO, CALIF – The agricultural burn scheduled for today, March 29, 2017, in the 1000 block of East Mountain Drive has been cancelled.
The Fire Department coordinates with the County Air Pollution Control District and monitors weather conditions closely prior to igniting piles. Based on the predicted weather for the next three days, the Air Pollution Control District issued a “No Burn” status; no burning is permissible.
