Access & Functional Needs Registry
Do you need additional assistance before, during or after an incident due to access and functional needs?
If so, please sign up for the Montecito Fire Department’s voluntary Access & Functional Needs Registry.
During heightened risk periods such as Red Flag Warning for fire threat or predicted severe storm events, Montecito Fire Department will contact people who have indicated that they will need additional time and assistance to evacuate safely.
Additional response assistance may be available for individuals with the following circumstances:
- Disabilities
- Mobility limitations
- Live in institutionalized settings
- Elderly
- Children, particularly those with special needs and/or mobility issues
- Those from diverse cultures or who have limited English proficiency
- Those who are transportation disadvantaged.
- Those with a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities.
