Fire retardant is dropped from heights of up to 300 feet by helicopters, and air tankers. Helicopters, depending on their size, can carry up to 800 gallons of water or retardant per load.

Pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice, coffee, and milk will be served by your local firefighters from 7:30 am to 11:00 am at Fire District Headquarters, 595 San Ysidro Rd.

Tickets are $8 each and can be purchased at the door.

Proceeds go to the Montecito Firefighter's Charitable Foundation.
