Rescues: 50 rescues by hoist, 50+ by ground 
Mandatory Evacuation affecting 7000 people 
Voluntary Evacuations affecting 23,300 people 

Assistance to Locate Friends and/or Family: 
A Family Assistance Center is open at the First Presbyterian Church: 21 E. Constance St. Phone: 805-364-1822. The center is for people looking for assistance in looking for friends and family that may have been affected by the storm. The center is open from 08:00 am to 08:00 pm.

Evacuation Assistance – Non emergent:

Residential Gas Service: 
For Safety reasons, natural gas service will be shut off to most parts of Montecito to repair the distribution system. It may take several days for gas service to be restored to these customers. 

Water Safety: 
Due to the recent Flash Flood events, residents are advised to BOIL YOUR WATER. Bring water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let cool before drinking. Boiled or bottled water for drinking and food preparation until further notice. This is the preferred method to assure that the water is safe to drink. 

Road Closures: 
Highway 101 remains closed Northbound at HWY 150, and Southbound at Milpas St. Hwy 192 closed in multiple locations.

United Way is accepting donations for Thomas Fire and 2018 January Storm victims. 100 percent of all donations will be allocated to the families and business owners affected by the storm. Dial 2-1-1 and specify the donation go to Fire And Flood victims.
