Evacuation orders remain in effect for Montecito:

  • North of East Valley Rd / Hwy 192
  • South of E. Camino Cielo
  • East of Gibraltar Rd.
  • West of Ladera Ln.

If you are in this area, you are advised to leave immediately and safely. If you are not in this area, please avoid it.

Evacuation Warnings remain in effect for the areas  

  • North of Hwy 192
  • South of E. Camino Cielo
  • East of Sycamore Canyon Rd
  • West of Hot Springs Rd.

 And

  • North of the ocean
  • South of East Valley Rd / Hwy 192
  • East of San Ysidro Rd, / Eucalyptus Ln
  • West of Sheffield Dr.

We appreciate the cooperation and patience of the community during this time. Life safety is our number one concern. Evacuations will remain in effect based on current fire behavior and potential threat to the community as an abundance of caution.

Fire engines from agencies in several states have been pre-positioned in Montecito as a precautionary measure. These engine companies are travelling through the district, gaining knowledge by familiarizing themselves with the terrain, access and types of structures they may be protecting.
