The Montecito Fire Department will be holding a community meeting to review the Draft Community Wildfire Protection Plan Amendment (Amendment).

The Montecito Fire Protection District has a vacancy on its Board of Directors. Pursuant to Government Code section 1780, the Board intends to fill this vacancy by appointment of a qualified applicant to serve as a Director until the next general District election in November 2020.

The 7th annual Season of Hope food and toy drive is underway. KSBY has teamed up once again with local non-profit organizations, fire departments and several businesses for the community-wide event. The Montecito Fire Protection District is now accepting donations of non-perishable foods and NEW, UNWRAPPED toys at either of our two fire stations:

Montecito Personnel To Be Honored With Valor Award
The Montecito Fire Department will host a Valor Ceremony to recognize Firefighter Paramedic, Andy Rupp and Wildland Fire Specialist, Maeve Juarez for their heroic efforts during the Montecito Debris Flow event on January 9, 2018.
